About Doreen

Empowering students to reach their full potential through personalized support is the cornerstone of my teaching practice. With a graduate degree and 10 years of experience, I specialize in Special Education and hold certification in Individualized Education Programs (IEP). I believe that fostering a love for learning is far more impactful than simple memorization. By actively observing how you interact with new material, I tailor my approach using visual aids, hands-on activities, and real-world examples to make complex concepts manageable. I prioritize open communication to build trust and ensure we celebrate every small success along the way. Whether working with elementary students or adult learners at the center, I find the greatest joy in witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks. I look forward to building a supportive partnership with you as we work toward your goals together.
