Professional caregiver with 10 years experience caring for all populations. My background includes a BA degree in Psychology, Case Management for at-risk youth group homes, 7 years senior/hospice care, 8 years special needs/disabled youth/adults care & 10 years as a Nanny/Certified Doula. From a young age, caring for others has been a meaningful part of my life. My mother became ill at age 10, therefore I took on the responsibility of her care & my younger brother's as well. What began as a necessity, blossomed into a true passion and now often feels like more of an honor than a job. Given that I do not have my own family, caring for others provides a joy that I cannot get on my own & I cherish the bond created with quality time shared.
