About Donna

Donna and her well trained dog Zoey cared for my 85-year-old Mom, with advanced Alzheimer’s disease, and helped support my 61-year-old brother, with special needs, in Mom’s care at mom’s home. Donna proved to be honest, a strong protector of my mom and my brother, with a kind of bright humor that made Mom smile, and was a sign to all of us that Mom was still adept at understanding humor even in her advanced stages of the disease. Donna is very detail oriented in care, which included daily care around helping mom eat healthy, helping with bathing and dressing mom, engaging with Mom in art and leisure activities like flower arranging, to encourage mental stimulation, and alerting me to care that I needed to be aware about for Mom with the progression of her disease. Donna’s dog Zoey proved to be a therapy dog for both my Mom and brother, often sitting on my mom’s lap or attentive when Mom was upset or sun downing. Donna is understanding about human nature, as it came to the care and understanding of all of us while caring for my Mom. I recommend Donna with 5 stars, as she was a godsend for the time my mom needed her 25-years’ experience of care giving, that included many years in memory care.
