About Donna

There is no one like Donna (Nana). I have known Donna for about 11 years now and there is not a day that goes by that I am not thankful for her. My ten year old talks about her and the fun she had while in her care (she started with her at 5 months old and continued with her until it was time for her to move on to preschool, a sad day for all of us). I’ve referred her to many friends who have been lucky enough to have Donna care for their children. To my daughter, (and our family), Donna is and will always be Nana. When you initially meet Nana, you immediately feel like family. Your child becomes like a grandkid to her and she loves them with every ounce of her being. She is fair, kind, organized, creative, gracious, incredibly thoughtful, LOVING and devoted. I don’t know how she has the energy and patience she does! She radiates happiness and genuinely loves what she does. Donna makes sure that your child is learning, growing and she ALWAYS made the cutest take home projects you have ever seen (how she found the time, I’ll never know). I used to tell her she was magical (and I still believe that to this day). She finds a way to make sure that each child feels special, daily of course, but especially on their birthdays with her personalized banners for them and holidays. She somehow manages to make my daughter feel special all of these years later with the cards she sends. When my daughter was in her care, she would send photos and updates (which always made my mama heart happy). I was constantly blown away by the lessons she taught the kids. When I say there is no one like her, I mean it. We consider Donna (Nana) our forever family and any one that has their child in her care should consider themselves incredibly lucky and blessed.
