Hello! My name is Donna In addition to my regular job at The Vineyard House, I've been caring for children, pets and Seniors for Care. com ever since. I am a retired Pediatric RN, who has found life much more satisfying caring for individuals in their own homes, rather than in the impersonal atmosphere of a hospital. In June of 2020 I was volunteering at Island Health Care's Test MV, but was soon offered a job to be the Lead Covid Tester. I ended up working with them for 2 years, until their government grant expired. I have several years of experience caring for all ages of children, pets and Seniors, and thoroughly enjoy being able to provide special attention to each person I care for. Also, I neither smoke nor drink, have been vaccinated & boostered, am CPR certified annually, and drive a very dependable car. Donna recently helped us for a week caring for our 8-month-old while we worked remotely. Donna is such a warm and caring human being. She was attentive with our 8-month old baby, giving him the warmth and engagement that made us feel completely at ease leaving him in her hands. She took him for short walks and handled feeding and sleep schedules very capably, and very quickly got in sync with our routines.
