About Donna

I am writing this letter on behalf of Donna who was my father’s head caregiver for over a year.  To our family Donna was literally an angel on earth during a challenging period of time.         My father suffered from dementia and we had to make the difficult decision of having him reside in an assisted living facility in the memory loss unit.  Eventually my father needed extra care and Donna was referred to me.  My sisters and I met Donna and immediately fell in love with her.  Her demeanor, compassion and love for her job really shone through.  After a very short period of time Donna became the only person outside the family that he truly trusted.  He was a very proud man and allowed only Donna to bath him, shave him, dress him and take him to the bathroom.  She was responsible for every need that he had and made sure he looked impeccable each and every day.  She is dependable,  fiercely loyal and took care of all of his scheduling including physical therapy, doctor  visits and grooming appointments.        Donna gave my family the most important gift and that was piece of mind.  She was in charge of hiring extra aides when he needed 24 hour care and she scheduled those people. It is without question that anyone who is fortunate enough to have Donna care for their loved ones are the lucky ones.
