Experience: 40 yrs
For over 35 years, I've dedicated myself to nurturing young minds & creating enriching experiences for children of all ages. It's so exciting to witness their growth & know that I'm making a positive impact! I have 6 years of Early Childhood & Brain Development coursework & Paraprofessional Certification. I enjoy engaging children in outdoor fun & grounding, playing games, art & crafts, reading & educational activities. I'm very approachable, patient, creative, dependable, friendly & honest. I always prioritize open honest communication with parents. I am happy to assist with carpooling, clean up, children's laundry, potty training, tutoring & more. I value teaching children empathy, responsibility, respect, to follow directions & to love reading. I developed an allergy to pet dander & artificial fragrances after my last series of vaccinations. I look forward to partnering with a new family (without indoor fur babies) by October..
We feel incredibly lucky to have had Donna care for our two daughters full-time. From the very beginning, she fit seamlessly into our family and created a nurturing, joyful environment where our girls thrived. She is kind, respectful, uplifting, and truly passionate about caregiving—qualities that were evident in every interaction she had with our children. She did far more than just care for them—she helped teach letters, numbers, colors, and fostered creativity through thoughtful arts and crafts activities. She played a key role in potty training, teaching responsibility, and instilling helpful habits like cleaning up after themselves. She also prepared incredibly healthy, organic meals aligned with her clean, non-toxic lifestyle, which we deeply appreciated. Our daughters were always excited to see her and felt completely at ease with her from the start. She brought them to gymnastics weekly, ensured they spent ample time outdoors (including grounding time in nature), and constantly encouraged imaginative play and learning. She always made sure they were safe. She did text check-ins which was reassuring for us. She also went above and beyond with household help, including the girls' laundry and dishes, and always offered a helping hand whenever needed. Her empathy, positivity, and genuine love for children shine through in everything she does. It’s rare to find someone as dedicated, trustworthy, and loving as Donna. We wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a truly exceptional nanny. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
