About Donna

Donna has been incredible with my 88-year-old stepfather, who has dementia and lives in memory care. Before Donna, he was spending most of his days in bed because the facility simply doesn’t have enough staff to keep residents consistently engaged. Donna changed that. She makes sure he’s up, dressed, and involved in activities or at least enjoying some fresh air and sunshine. She looks for things that might spark his interest and keeps him engaged as much as possible. When he’s in his room, she puts on music or a show he enjoys and encourages simple exercises to help maintain his strength. She also keeps our family updated with photos and messages, which means so much to us. As his dementia progresses, we are deeply grateful she is still with him several days a week. She communicates changes and helps us know when we may need to advocate for him. Any family would be lucky to have Donna — she brings compassion, attentiveness, and dignity to her care every day.
