About Donna
For 12 years I was the live-in caregiver to my mother until her death in 2019. Some of my duties included: -Taking her to recurring medical appointments, physical therapy & dialysis treatments -Assisting with mobility (transfers from car to wheelchair/wheelchair to home hospital bed.) -Performing aftercare for numerous surgeries to include medication management -Assisting with toileting and activities of daily living -Light meal prep and housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, pet care -Received certification as a Personal Support Specialist to gain knowledge to best support her following aortic valve replacement recovery -Taking her on trips out of house (whenever possible) to see the sights/something enjoyable so her life was not just hospitals/doctors offices/dialysis treatments Due to my full time nanny position, I am available Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays only. I would prefer work in the Woodstock, Quechee/Hartford, Barnard and Pomfret area. Thank you for considering me.

Donna is a great choice. I was once her coworker in the care of 3 young girls under the age of 8 yrs old. She always showed up on time. She is an enthusiastic and caring individual, and the kids loved her activities and loving nature. The parents were pleased with her care. I also was present when she cared for her own mother for 12 years. She is kind and helpful, and easy to talk with. She and her mother went many places to get Beverly out if the house, and Donna was able to transfer her from wheelchair to car. She shows a level of respect to seniors that is honorable.
