About Dongyue

I am a U. S.-educated native Mandarin speaker, fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese. I have years of experience teaching Mandarin to children and adults, tailoring each lesson to the student's age, interests, and learning goals. For young children, I use a play-based, immersive approach that naturally incorporates songs, books, games, stories, and everyday interaction, helping them develop listening and speaking skills in a fun and engaging environment. For older students and adults, I help build vocabulary, strengthen conversational fluency, and accommodate individual learning needs using proven, effective teaching methods.
