About Dominique

We are writing to highly recommend Dominique as a Nanny for all of your childcare needs. Dominique was my child's full time caregiver 4 days per week from 2023, when they were roughly 8 months old, until the summer of 2025, as they prepare to enter 3K. I am sad to see her go as my child moves into the school-stages and will no longer have the same level of child-care needs, though I plan to call her first whenever we need a babysitter. Dominique's soft-spoken, gentle, nurturing demeanor has kept my child feeling loved and secure, day in and day out. She's playful, fun, and keeps my curious kiddo busy and engaged - taking her on frequent outings to libraries, parks, museums, zoos, and special events around Brooklyn. She made sure our extrovert, only-child had plenty of opportunities to socialize and even form close friendships with children their own age. Dominique was my partner through the kiddo's milestones, helping support them as she learned to walk, talk, and potty train. She paid close attention to their physical and social-emotional health and development and reported back accordingly, celebrating with me as the kid grew and offering gentle suggestions to make sure we were on the same page. She's excellent at following instructions and guidance when offered, while being self motivated and sensible, such that I never had to worry about care-giving reminders or daily activity suggestions. Dominique has always been reliable, communicative and flexible. When I had an injury that limited my caregiving ability, she stepped up without hesitation to take on additional days and hours. She gives appropriate notice when she needs time off, and on the extremely rare occasion that she's needed to take time off with less notice than expected, she has helped secure alternative arrangements in her absence.
