About Dominique

Dominique provided outstanding nanny care to my two children for several years when they were infants up until they began pre-school. Then as our needs shifted, she provided all types of care: after-school, household organization, cooking, whatever it was we needed. Dominique brings a unique bicultural element to her work, is fluent in three languages, and is an extremely conscientious childcare provider, extremely reliable, arriving on time, never once calling in sick, and very observant of how we asked her to do things. She is energetic, resourceful, creative, capable and most of all, LOVING. Dominique truly delights in the children she cares for and was always seeking out new experiences for my children, whether it was a new park, a fun library workshop, or a music class. Each of my children formed a strong attachment to Domi before they could even talk, and once they could talk, they loved to recount the fun they had with her, the day’s games, songs, silliness and discoveries. My daughter became completely bilingual in Spanish thanks to Dominique’s diligent instruction (though French is also an option that she is able to offer!) Dominique is also incredibly flexible, and adept at caring for groups of children, including times we had the cousins over, all with wildly different nap schedules, which she managed to perfection. Even after we no longer had regular, ongoing childcare needs, Dominique continued to be a part of our family, celebrating milestones and being available as a babysitter when needed.
