My mother had a home daycare for 25+ years, beginning 3 years before I was born. I am 26 years old and have worked with dozens of children since I was a child and teenager. I worked professionally for my mother when I was 18 to 20 years old. I love working with infants and toddlers and cultivating a space for them to learn to communicate and express themselves in new/different ways, and being extremely attentive. I just moved to Phoenix, Arizona in January of this year from Washington, DC. I've spent the last few years in the service industry as a waitress and bartender, however childcare is a passion of mine. My skills include patience, strong communication- whether it be basic sign language for children who can't speak yet or wording things in a way for a 2-year-old to fully grasp what I'm saying, as well as making a child feel safe and heard.
