I am a former middle school teacher and recent MFA graduate. I have a lifetime of experience living with and learning from animals as well as experience volunteering with shelter pets and wildlife. Each individual (pet or person) is unique, and every family has their own routines and preferences. We'll do a meet and greet to get to know each, make sure it's a good fit, and make the experience as seamless and fun as possible. I am flexible, communicative, and like to plan ahead. I am having some technical difficulties with the app. Dog sitting is $95/night, Cat sitting is $75/night. There's a $10/night discount for extended stays (5+ days) in northwest Petaluma or Cotati. Walks are $30. I do not offer boarding or doggy daycare.

We feel incredibly grateful to have found Dominica. Our older dog is usually cautious with new people, but her calm, gentle presence put him at ease right away. She has house-sat for us multiple times and has seamlessly adapted as our guy has developed mobility issues, including using a stroller and managing medications. Dominica is wonderful about keeping us informed with thoughtful text updates and great photos. We have complete peace of mind during her stays. She treats our home with care, and it’s always clear that our dog is her top priority. Truly a unicorn of pet caretakers — and a genuinely lovely human!
