I have more than 20 years of valuable experience working with seniors, which began with my career at Polamar Hospital in Escondido. During my 11-year tenure, I worked in the subacute unit, where I further more my skills in caring for the elderly. Following my time at Polamar, I transitioned to Redwood Terrace, a senior living facility, where I spent 12 years providing specialized care to patients with Alzheimer's disease. My role at the facility allowed me to further develop my expertise in addressing the unique needs of seniors with cognitive impairments. With a wealth of knowledge and experience under my belt, I am now happily focused on bringing my skill set to private care. My extensive experience has equipped me with the ability to provide exceptional care to seniors, and I am excited to continue to make a meaningful difference in their lives and there loved ones.

Exceptional caregiver! Dolores cared for my mother during her last year and a half of her 101 year life. She demonstrated a total command of the necessary skills for care of a person with dementia. Originally, Dolores was the weekday/morning caregiver but as my mother’s health began to severely decline she took on more and more hours of care and always with a smile and eyes fill with compassion. She, along with Lucy, in a sense became part of our family because of her trustworthiness, punctuality, medical knowledge, and genuine kindness.
