R. with 10+ years caring for children in date nights, overnights, before/after school care, and household support. I enjoy sparking curiosity through outdoor play, libraries, museums, arts & crafts, and teaching Spanish. Bilingual (Eng/Sp), non-smoker, pet friendly, and trained in SIDS, BSAC, and Water Safety.

Dolca was the best! I traveled for work and sometimes had some last minute changes. She was wonderful with both my children.

Dolca is an excellent caregiver. We were lucky to have found her. Everyday she comes up with fun activities for our 20 month old son to do and he has so much fun. She is always on time and very organized. She even cleans the house a bit while he naps which is so nice! Highly recommend Dolca.

Dolca was our nanny (my children are now 5 and 8) for almost 2 years. She was great and we're sad that she's moving. She always kept the kids entertained whether playing outside on nice days or inside on rainy days. Lots of creative activities and crafts, fun games, and even cooking. She was always on time and easy to communicate with.  I would recommend her to anyone looking for help with their children!!!

Dolca was available on very short notice and was super sweet and fun with my little girl. She was very flexible and very punctual as well. We were visiting from out of town, and I asked my daughter what her favorite parts of the trip were (we traveled to Charlotte and also
Washington DC on the trip), and she said, "babysitter and babysitter, oh and the Washington Monument." That sounds like a ringing endorsement to me! I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

It is my great pleasure to recommend Dolca as a nanny. She has been caring for our 8 and 5-year-old daughters since April 2019 when I transitioned back to full -time work.
Dolca is energetic, organized, reliable, and playful with the girls. She immediately folded into our daily routine and has assisted me with daily home management all along way. She enjoys cooking and has shared some of her delicious recipes for us. She knows how to structure time well but is also flexible as the needs arise. She ensures the children continue to have opportunities to play with their friends by coordinating play dates with other caregivers. She also values the children's safety as much as me the parent. 
We feel fortunate to have had Dolca in our home. She has made my transition from stay-at-home-mom to full time work very easy. I appreciate her care and thoughtfulness for our girls outside of work as well. When they are sick she checks in on them and has help celebrate their birthdays.

I can't say enough great things about Dolca. This is my 1st baby and with family not close my husband and I wanted to find a babysitter who was caring, reliable and experienced- and we were thrilled we found Dolca. From our interview I could tell she was experienced and well trained and even with our 1st meeting she listened carefully to our routine and executed what I wanted. And once she met baby oh my she showered him with much attention and eased my baby's separation anxiety. Really glad to find Dolca and will be using her again.  We highly recommend her!

Dolca has been, and will continue to be blessing to our family. She was lovely to speak to over the phone for an interview; she was asking all the right questions and sincerely wanted to ensure that she would be a good fit for us and our son. Right from the start, my son (2) fell in love with her, her energy and spirit. Dolca provides a safe, extremely fun and loving environment for those who matter most. Dolca is also a self-starter which cannot be overlooked. She doesn't need to be micromanaged, she takes the initiative to make plans for my kiddo and doesn't need me to tell her what to do (feeding, bedtime, park, library, etc.). When our son is in her care, my husband and I are 100% at ease because we know Dolca treats our son like one of her own.
 


Dolca is amazing! Our newborn, dog, the whole family loves her! She is dependable, works very hard, listens to special instructions, all while being thoughtful and caring for our new addition! We are so glad to have met her, she makes our lives less stressful knowing we can trust her judgement!

Dolca is great! She obviously has spent a lot of time with children and is wonderful with our 4 month old. She takes the time to really interact with our daughter which I love!  I can also trust her to feed her, put her to bed, use the right diaper cream, etc. She thinks to put socks on my daughter when I forgot to tell her.  She's on top of things for sure! She is very capable and a wonderful babysitter!

Dolca is a very honest and professional nanny. She has impressed me on many occasions with her ability to watch two kids, 3 year old and 9 month old and when she was first hired jumped in with ease and effortlessness. Childcare comes so naturally to her and she really does care about my girls. She treats this as a real job and always comes prepared.  My daughter's love her! 

Dolca was our short term nanny for a few months and was wonderful!  She was great with our 2 year old daughter and really put our mind at ease.  Dolca is a great communicator, very energetic and 100% reliable.  She made everyday fun and integrated Spanish language skills into play and our daughter loved it and learned so much Spanish in a short period of time. We will continue to use Dolca for date nights and we miss her already!

Dolca is absolutely wonderful and we cannot recommend her enough.  Not only was she great with our 18 month old, but she was extremely responsive and reliable.  She saved us on more than one occasion by making herself available, even if it was only for the few hours she had free in a day.  Our daughter loves playing/being outside and she made sure she took her for long walks and gave her opportunities to explore.  She was also extremely patient and easy to be around.  

Our family first interviewed Dolca in summer 2017. She was our regular 'date-night' babysitter for 7 months before she relocated to North Carolina to be near family. Dolca is AMAZING! She is caring, funny,  kind, smart,  knowledgeable, responsible, and highly experienced. She is a wonderful listener and a great communicator. She balances play and appropriate boundaries. I can go on and on. She was the first non-family member my husband and I trusted to put our daughter to bed. My daughter was OVERJOYED to see Dolca every time she came to babysit; a Dolca day was practically a holiday. Dolca is also very reliable and clearly communicates her availability. She is also very flexible, letting us know if she had openings due to last minute cancellations etc. Please do yourselves a favor: bring this wonderful woman into your home, and treat her well. We miss her terribly. 

Dolca worked as an after school sitter for my boys (ages 4 and 8) and we loved her.  She is punctual, reliable, a good communicator, and very fun and engaging with our kids.  Her responsibilities included (among other things) driving the kids (in our car), as well as cooking dinner for the kids four times a week.  As a mom, I never worried when the kids were in her care, and I referred her to several other friends for babysitting.  In addition, when I first hired Dolca, I called multiple references, all of whom had glowing reviews as well.  We were sorry to have Dolca relocate out of the DC metro area, but I have no doubt that she will be a great find for another lucky family (or families) in her new locale.
