I hold a college degree and have two years of experience empowering students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills for long-term success. I actively listen and observe students' initial interactions with new material, varying my teaching strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples and break down complex problems into manageable steps to build momentum. Regular updates keep parents informed, and open dialogue allows me to adapt my approach. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and helping them achieve academic goals is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I have CPR training and First Aid certifications.
