About Dionne

Hi! I'm Dionne-a recent college graduate with a degree in neuroscience, currently working as a medical assistant in an emergency room. Before that, I worked at a pediatric clinic, which really solidified my love for working with children. I'm planning to attend medical school soon, with hopes of becoming a pediatrician. This would be my first official babysitting job on Care. com, but I've been the go-to sitter for years within my family and community. I've cared for toddlers, school-aged kids, and pre-teens, helping with everything from playtime and homework to meals and bedtime routines. I haven't worked with newborns, but I'm very comfortable with toddlers and older children. I'm CPR and BLS certified, calm under pressure (thanks to the ER), and always bring a balance of safety, structure, and fun. Whether we're doing crafts, building blanket forts, or tackling homework with a smile, I'm all about making kids feel safe, seen, and supported.
