My name is Diomelyn; however, I normally go by my nickname Joy. I've been a caregiver since 2003 and had few long term clients, the longest lasted about 11 years. I have may experience with dementia and knowing that dealing with patients who has this decease you need to be patient and I know I have that, that is why I love being a caregiver as I enjoy helping people and at the same time I like hearing people's life stories if they can or want to share with me. I'm very energetic, a good conversationalist, and I feel good when I make my clients smile or laugh. Having trained as a midwife in college, am very capable in interfacing with medical personnel on behalf of my clients.
