I'd describe my personality as patient, caring, and structured. I enjoy working with children because they are all unique and special in their own way. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust, and who gives you peace of mind while watching your children. I've tutored two brothers, helping them with their school homework for 2 years. It was a great experience. In addition, I have 13 plus years working as an Instructional Assistant Special Education for school districts in the South Bay. My main focus was helping students with learning disabilities. In my spare time, I love to go to the beach, travel, go out to eat, volunteer, and go to music concerts. I have two young adult sons who are very special to me. Just recently, I became a grandma to my grandson. I love my new role! Also, my dogs, Brady and Carl are pretty special too! I'm a reliable person who takes my job to heart. Dina has been an incredible part of our family for the past year and a half. She has helped drive our child home from school and has also cared for both of our kids (preschool and elementary school age) when we’ve needed extra support. She is reliable, dependable, and incredibly trustworthy. Safety is always her top priority, and she consistently keeps me informed with thoughtful observations about my child - even noticing when he might be in a mood before I do! As a former teacher, Dina goes above and beyond by engaging my elementary-aged child in meaningful conversations and leaning into his interests. He truly looks forward to the time they spend together. She celebrates my child’s accomplishments with us and has taken the time to really get to know our family. Dina truly feels like family!
