As a child I grew up around seniors and appreciated their wit and wisdom. My husband and I ministry in our Faith-based community is visiting the seniors. I also worked at Connecticut Institute for the Blind for about 20 years. I care about Seniors because caring is what I do, I love helping others. I also cared for my dad. Dian has truly been a blessing to our family. In the short time my grandmother had left, Dian brought her joy and tailored her care to her needs. My grandmother had dementia and, even towards the end of her life, she would still light up when Dian came into the room. She was compassionate to not only my grandmother but my entire family. I only wish we had the opportunity to work with her longer. She will be asset to anyone in her care.
