About Diane

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With five years of experience, I specialize in English, Art, and Special Education. I am American Tutoring Association certified and experienced in Individualized Education Programs (IEP). I assess your child's unique learning style by actively listening and observing how they interact with new material. To keep students engaged, I celebrate small successes and provide consistent positive reinforcement. I believe regular communication with parents is essential to reinforce learning at home. Watching a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding part of my work. I am happy to meet at your home, the library, or a community center, and I am comfortable with pets. I look forward to supporting your child's journey toward academic success.
