About Diane

I have been an HHA for 15 years now. I gained first hand experience with Alzheimer's helping with my dad's care. He was only 67 when we lost him. I helped my mother out, relieving her at times because she needed to go to a support group. Unfortunately, being isolated and alone with dad it was hard on her. I did not fully understand at the time what she really went through, until, I started to work with people that had similar sicknesses and saw the devastation in their families. I saw how it was affecting them. We never expected our dad to get sick so early. He did not even get to reach his golden years. It took much healing to be able to get through this. I never thought I would be doing this work. This work feels so rewarding, more than many other jobs. I feel so much satisfaction in making a difference in someone's life and providing support to families that need help. I also have experience with many seniors with physical limitations and people and children with disabilities.
