I'm an in-home caregiver. I care for elderly, handicapped, sick clients, those who are unable to care for themselves. I prepare meals, feed them or help them feed themselves. I bathe them or help them bathe themselves. My services include dressing or helping the client dress themselves. I wash dishes and tidy the kitchen. I keep the bathroom clean as needed. I often carry clients to their doctor appointments. Another part of my job is to remind them of doctor's appointments. I wash their clothes as necessary and change sheets also. I also keep their nails neat and trimmed. sometimes I go shopping for a client. Personal care is my job.
