I'm a Critical Care RN with 23 years of experience. Due to neck surgery several years ago I can no longer continue with the rigorous demands of hospital nursing. I have worked in almost every aspect of nursing including critical care, emergency department, post anesthesia care unit, endoscopy, outpatient chemotherapy, cardiac cath area, pediatrics, hospice and hospital cancer ward. The only area I have no experience is in the operating room. I've had exposure to special needs patients during my career, but I have never worked solely in a special needs facility. I also love animals if they happen to be in your home as well. I am kind and patient and would love to make you smile. I have an adult daughter who suffers from ADHD and lives independently. When I was 19 I became a foster parent to my then 12 yo disabled sister. I adopted her at age 23 when I got married and she continues to live with me at this time.
