About Diane

Ms. Diane has truly been a blessing to our family. I firmly believe that God places the right people in our lives for a reason, and that has absolutely been the case with Ms. Diane. I originally found her through a Facebook forum when I was searching for an affordable and knowledgeable math tutor for my daughter, who was really struggling and starting to fall behind in 3rd grade. That’s the year multiplication and division are introduced, and while I tried my best to help, I realized she needed another voice and perspective to truly understand the material. Before finding Ms. Diane, I reached out to several tutors, but many were inconsistent with communication or didn’t have availability that worked with our schedule. When I came across Ms. Diane’s page, I immediately noticed the depth of knowledge she shared about teaching math and supporting students who struggle with it. She seemed kind, experienced, and trustworthy, so I reached out. She responded right away and scheduled a call with me to learn more about my daughter. We spoke for about an hour, and she offered so much encouragement and insight from a teacher’s perspective. When they met for the first time, Ms. Diane was incredibly warm, patient, and attentive. She took the time to really listen to my daughter and created a space where she felt safe, comfortable, and confident to learn. Since then, we’ve set up consistent weekly sessions. Ms. Diane has even been accommodating enough to meet my daughter at her after-school care for tutoring, and she has shared valuable lessons with the after-school class as well, such as teaching them how to tell time. The biggest impact she’s had has been on my daughter’s confidence. She doesn’t just teach the math concepts and strategies—she also helps her develop healthy coping tools when she feels anxious or frustrated. She has recommended helpful books, websites, podcasts, and even TED Talks that support learning and positive thinking, not just in math but in life. As a busy mom running a large business, I have a lot on my plate, and Ms. Diane has truly been a saving grace. My daughter’s math grades have improved, but even more importantly, her confidence, reasoning skills, and willingness to try have grown so much. They’ve built a wonderful, trusting bond, and my daughter genuinely looks forward to seeing Ms. Diane each week. I am incredibly grateful we found her and would highly recommend her to any family looking for a patient, knowledgeable, and truly caring tutor.
