I'd describe my personality as curious, communicative, caring, and kind. I have a lot of experience and I would like to use my skills to help others. One of my siblings had a disability and I have always been comfortable with people who have special needs or are differently abled. I'm looking for a good fit for everybody. I'd like to feel connected to the family and be able to collaborate well in order to be the most effective. As a retired teacher. I started caring for people with special needs when I became a teacher in 1988. I am not a special ed teacher but have had all different kinds of students in my various classrooms. I've worked with all age levels and over the years I've learned a lot. I worked hard to connect with all the students in my class. I like to swim, ski, listen to music, play with my dogs. I like music and like to laugh. I'm open to feedback. I like to use humor to cope with difficulties. I like being outdoors. I speak Spanish. I am creative
