I have over 6 years working with children and young adults with special needs. Emphasizing in the autism spectrum and learning disabilities but have worked with children with down syndrome and well as psychological disabilities. I have worked for both district and private schools. I have experience providing special needs care through play environment and ABA therapy. I am well trained in planning and implementing learning strategies that meets each individual's needs and interest in all developmental areas. I have experience in feeding and diaper changing as well as potty training. I can also provide extra assistance with household chores that are difficult to maintain with a child/ children with special needs requirements such as cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry. I am CPR and CPI trained. I am well-versed in caring and working with children that display behaviors. I have excellent communication skills and speak both English and Spanish.
