I have worked effectively with seniors living with diabetes, Parkinson's, stroke, and dementia, administering daily medications as prescribed by the clients' physicians. I have provided diabetic care and administered insulin as well as provided g-tube feeding and training to family members and caregivers. Seniors and their families are often able to participate in their own physical care and need the skills of a sensitive care giver to help them when they want more assistance with their physical care or medication management.
