I have extensive experience working on a companionship basis with the elderly..... over 38 years. Anything from just spending time to grocery shopping, laundry, doctor appointments, house cleaning, gardening and just about anything else I can do to help the families I work for and their loved ones. I received my certification in gerontology from Rhode Island College and have worked as an activities director for Dora Howard Center for the elderly. I have excellent judgment and would be an asset to any home care program and also assist in nursing home and retirement home situations with my clients. I have spent many hours and have a great deal of knowledge working with dementia and Alzheimer's patients. My hourly wage includes mileage.
