Teaching children is my passion. I absolutely love it! I am a Kindergarten through 2nd grade tutor, but I was a teacher for 16 years in grades Pre-K, Transitional Kindergarten, and Kindergarten in a Christian school setting. Most of my teaching experience was in advanced Kindergarten where I taught students how to read on a 1st to 2nd grade level. I tutor children in K through 2nd grade who are having difficulty with phonics, just learning how to read, or wanting to advance in reading. It would be my pleasure to help your child succeed. I tutor in my home only. I am available during the day for homeschooled children as well as after school.
