I always look forward to putting smiles on a child's face, changing diapers, feeding, bathing, interacting and taking them outside for walks and play date, My goal is to entertain with activities that support body, emotional, and social growth.

Diana has been with us since our child was 3 months old, and she has been everything we hoped for: hardworking, reliable, independent and dependable. She has amazing experience and skills from infants to toddlers to kindergarten and beyond!

Her greatest impact, though, has been on our son. She has played a central role in helping him become independent, kind, social, friendly and thoughtful — and he is now completely fluent in Spanish thanks to her. She created a warm circle of friends in the neighborhood, handled school and activity drop-offs and pick-ups all over the city, and always kept him engaged with thoughtful learning, games, and creative activities.

Diana has been an extraordinary partner to our family, and we feel incredibly lucky to have had her in our lives for so long. We can’t speak more highly of her, and we believe any family would be fortunate to have someone with her level of care, experience, and heart.


We had the pleasure of sharing Diana part-time for nearly a year, and she was truly wonderful. She is very kind, incredibly caring and above all so calm, our 1.5-year-old adored her and was always in a great mood after their time together. Diana prioritized outdoor time, meaningful play, quality time with other nannies and kids of similar age, all which we deeply valued. She thought our baby girl Spanish, and overall clearly established a strong bond which will always be dear to our heart.

Diana watched our 2 kids (ages 1 and 3) for a week while our regular nanny was out on vacation. The kids became comfortable with Diana quickly and she quickly learned their routines. She has a calm energy and is really kind. We're grateful to have another dependable trustworthy caretaker in the city.

Diana is my go to babysitter. She communicates well in both English and Spanish and is very punctual. She is attentive, caring and in control. She respects the rules I have laid out for caring for my son and always goes above and beyond what she needs to do. My son (who is 2) took to her easily and she had no problem watching him while we were out for date nights. She was also very flexible with return times when we asked in advanced and my confidence in her allowed my husband and I to enjoy our nights out. When texted during the night, she is prompt to respond and sends photos, which I like.

Diana is lovely! My 18 mo loved her. Would recommend!

We were very fortunate to employ Diana, 
who took care of daughter since she was 5 months old (our daughter is 1yo now). It is hard to describe how wonderful Diana is in a short paragraph, but take my word for it, any family would be lucky to have her working with their children. Diana is responsible, nurturing yet firm, fun, flexible, intuitive about children's needs and always gave her thoughtful attention to our daughter when she was in her care. She played with her joyfully, helping her develop her emotional and social skills, engaged her physically to help her develop motor skills, and took her on outings around the neighborhood to the parks, library, and on walks to spark her curiosity. She independently met other nannies with babies our daughter's age and set up social dates with them. She read her stories and taught her Spanish as well as English. We feel so thankful to have ha such a talented and intelligent person helping us raise our daughter.

We interviewed Diana (in person) and brought her in for a trial.  We were impressed with her - she took good care of our son (four months old).  She was very punctual in returning our text messages and email.  We ultimately hired another nanny for our position, but it was a tough choice.  We would certainly have hired Diana if this other nanny were not available. In short, we recommend Diana and plan on keeping her in mind if we need temporary child care in the future.        

Diana spent two weeks with my two sons (6 and 2 years old) as an emergency replacement for our full time nanny who left us without any notice. In the midst of all the chaos going on (and stress), Diana came in with a giant smile, a calm, welcoming demeanor and made everything better. All of her references praised her work ethic and gentle spirit and she can now add us to that list. During the two weeks, she took the boys for walks, made them breakfast and lunch, sent me updates and photos regularly and gave them both all of her energy and attention. I'd come home from work to find them all sitting on the floor together playing and laughing. I would ask my oldest son "how was the day?" and every day, he replied with a smile and excitement to tell me how nice Diana was and all the fun they had. If my kids weren't starting school tomorrow, I would have offered her a full time/long term job. She is TERRIFIC.

Diana D. has cared for our son since I returned to work when we was 3 months old.  He is now turning 14 months in a couple of weeks and Diana has continued to be a saint filled presence in our house.

I have never questioned Diana's care of my son.  She is attentive, responsive, and in every way loving to N.  He lights up when he sees her and clearly enjoys every minute he spends with her.  Her energy, flexibility, and cheerful demeanor has allowed N. to flourish into toddler hood as a confident, happy, and social, albeit adventurous little kid.

She responds well to any of our requests with immediate action.  When we were a bit concerned about his language development she really upped her reading time with him.  I always come home to find them curled up with a book. As an only child, she sought play dates to schedule for him and now has regular friends he plays with which has brought out a noticeable difference in his social skills.

She has found free and fee activities, like the music classes at Lark and Kettle & Thread, and the story times at the Brooklyn Library that she shuttles him to regularly.  She's bought him books and educational toys that made her think of him.  Her focus on reading and books has developed N. into a bibliophile--he goes to bed with a book in his hand and wakes up to one as well.  I can only hope that that love continues to grow.

Not only is she great with our son, but she has helped out in many ways with the family.  She does light housekeeping on her own--vacuuming, dusting, dishes, family laundry--without being asked. Once I even came home to a scrubbed and spotless stove top--which no one asked her to do.  With my and my husband's non traditional full time work schedules, she has been very flexible with her starting and end times, sometimes having to work 10+ hour days, even with short notice.  She's very open and communicative and updates me with photos and texts throughout the day (not annoyingly so).

We originally found her on Care.com with great reviews and references from her previous families.  She is very reliable and punctual and I can only hope that she finds a family that deserves her.  She is bilingual in Spanish and English and has experience working with newborns through school aged children, with experience caring for multiples.

I hired Diana 3/2014 and she has been great to work with. She is caring for my 1 year old son and has fit right in with my family. She continues to help us with my son's speech and physical therapy, takes him to the park, reads to him, and plays with him. The thing I like most about Diana is that she is very easy to talk to and television is not the focal point of the day.  Most times when I come home the television is off which is a relief to me. I am very happy with Diana and glad I chose her.
