About Diamond

I'd describe my personality as creative, kind, and dependable. I like working with kids because I love that I can help support parents by caring for their children, and at the same time I'm able to nurture children and offer many great learning experiences to them. I started working with kids when I was 17 years old as a aftercare counselor. The following year I was a teachers assistant in the VPK program (Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten). This is when I fell in love with teaching and decided that teaching is what I would like to. I was them given my own classroom as the lead teacher and I taught VPK for two years and absolutely adored every second of it. I'm am currently working as a paraprofessional for the school district while I finish my Bachelors in Elementary Education. In my spare time, I like to do arts and crafts, build Lego kits, and spend time with family. My skills include engaging young children in play, organization, and patience.
