Over 5 years. Cook for them, clean the house , do they laundry, grocery shop , do activities , take to doctor appointments, I am CPR first aid and medicine certified. I love being able to be in this field and take care of people how I take care or my grandparents and making sure everything is OK and always being there when they need someone there to assist them with anything ! You really have to have a different kind of heart being able to be a caregiver because you have some people that needs more assistance then others and this isn't just a regular job you have to have a passion for what you do helping others because some people aren't verbal so you have to pay attention to them at all times to assure nothing is wrong with them because they wouldn't be able to tell you anyway . Growing up I was raised by my great grandmother and being there coaching her along with her medication and helping cook made me really appreciate life because a lot of people don't have the experience or love
