About Deychen

Hi! My name is Deychen and I'm super excited to get to know you and your kids! I'm a native New Yorker, recent college graduate, actor, musician, and dancer. I'm seeking the opportunity to merge my skills as an artist/arts educator with my love for kids! I have experience in arts education and have worked with children ages 4 to 18 in a variety of educational and artistic settings. I've taught dance, music and theatre to a variety of age groups, and believe that creative skills can help ignite the imagination, build confidence and collaborative skills. As a babysitter/nanny I would enjoy planning fun activities to do with your kids. Everything from arts and crafts, reading out loud, creative writing games, museum outings, etc. I have some experience with homeschooling and enjoy finding ways to make fun activities also educational. I'm patient, emotionally intelligent, and prioritize safety. I'm willing to get CPR certified if requested. I'm fully vaccinated and wear masks indoors.
