About Devon

I have experience working in early childhood care facilities as well as in public elementary education. I am a full time student earning my degree at WCU for early childhood education. I have two semesters of school left until I graduate. I am easy to get along with and love working with children. I'd describe my personality as caring, goofy and positive. I love working with kids because I genuinely enjoy helping them grow and gain confidence. I like being someone they feel safe and comfortable around. I am a full time student at WCU. Next semester, I will be student teaching for two days a week. I started working with kids over 8 years ago. After graduating high school, I worked at a pre-school. I worked with children of all ages. In my spare time, I like to read, bake, travel, garden and spend time with my family and friends. One thing you should know about me is I am reliable and kind. My skills include patience, active listening and empathy.
