About Devona

My husband and I have twin toddlers (currently 3.5 years old). We both work full time, and often are in desperate need of help. Devona's help has been crucial---I don't know how we would have managed without her support. We first hired Devona back in 2023. Back then, our daughters were not yet ready for daycare---Devona worked with us three out of five days each week, 8 hours each day. In June 2024 we finally got into a daycare (which has been our goal from the start). We did not want to part with Devona, so we continued hiring her regularly for weekends and holidays (and still do now, in December 2025). We spend considerable time working from home, so we have had a lot of opportunities to observe Devona. She is great. First, our babies adore her. Whenever they see her come through the door, their little faces light up. I suspect they know to expect high-quality entertainment (which my husband and I don't always provide). Devona is kind, positive, enthusiastic, and attentive; she engages them with fun (and educational) activities. Second, Devona is very pleasant to interact with and has good judgement. She is reliable, receptive to our requests, and generally mindful of our preferences. Third---and I cannot speak here for Devona, but from my point of view---she appears to truly have our babies' best interests at heart. We work with a number of professionals to address some developmental delays, and Devona makes an effort to implement their suggestions in her care. To sum up, we feel fortunate to have had Devona take care of our children. She is an excellent caretaker who is attentive, cares about child development, and a pleasure to work with.
