About Devi

I am a retired special education teacher with over 20 years of experience working with students in grades K-6. I have also provided tutoring for homeschooled students and supported children through after-school learning. Although I retired early to help care for a family member, I truly enjoy continuing to work with children and supporting their growth. I specialize in building confidence and helping students develop the skills and strategies they need to succeed. I celebrate small successes and break down complex problems. Communication is essential. I provide regular updates, which help parents stay informed and reinforce learning at home. I am a certified teacher and have experience with IEPs and student accommodation plans (504). I tutor math, English, special education, and study skills at the elementary and middle school levels. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewardina aspect of tutorina. I would love to help your student succeed!
