I have been in the childcare industry for 40 years. I have worked in the private sector and daycare center. I also had homebase in my home licensing though the state of Virginia for 17 years. I love working with children of all ages. I have worked for the public school system as a substitute teacher for 6 years. I have the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations. I have empathy understanding and responding to children's emotional needs. I effectively convey information to children and parents. I'm very creative developing engaging activities that stimulate learning and play. I'm reliability consistently being dependable and punctual for scheduled care.
