About Destiny

My professional childcare experience began in 2017 at a local daycare. After graduating college in 2019, I continued work in the day care and simultaneously as a pre-school teacher's aide for one year until I was hired at a residential program for refugee minors in 2021. I love working with children because as they are growing and learning and discovering, I have the joy of experiencing that sense of wonder and curiosity with them. I would describe myself as jovial, empathetic, and adaptable. Being an introvert, my free time often looks like reading, bingeing a show, taking long walks, or partaking in whatever art endeavor has my interest at the time. I consider active listening and communication, organization, observation, and creativity to be my strengths. I'm looking for a job that is flexible, welcoming, engaging, and sustainable.
