About Destiny

Hello! I am a wife and mother of 3. My home is English dominant, Spanish being secondary. I am calm, organized, and adaptable. I see this as an opportunity to form meaningful relationships, contributing to something greater than myself. It brings me joy to create change by example. Kindness and higher vocabulary just naturally derive from the environment of our home, and this is something I take pride in. As a pastor's daughter, I cared for children during prayer groups, but I had my 1st child in 2019. In my spare time, I read books and listen to music. Often I make homemade purées, or pack lunches. I am truly open to working any hours. My home is open to your child at any time or day. You are never interrupting. My skills include deescalating, problem solving, and patience. I feel that active listening is essential to preventing tantrums. Fits are the result of having a biological or perceived need unmet, education and effective communication lead to understanding.
