Hello, I have been a Caregiver to people of all walks of life for over 10 years now, my specialty is Senior care. I have worked in a care home for seniors with dementia and Alzheimer's, which I absolutely loved. And in home for seniors with all different kinds of mentalities, I have seen the good the bad and the ugly sides of caregiving. I have seen and done it all! I am always willing to learn and adapt and to teach family members as well! I am passionate about what I do. I have not wanted any other job since finding my place as a senior caregiver. I enjoy learning about each individual's personality, likes and dislikes and further enriching their lives with my own knowledge based on those things as well! I fully support each individual's independence while also providing a safe and compassionate environment and relationship with each of my clients! Dignity, compassion, respect and laughter surrounded my mom while in Destiny’s care. Destiny attended to all of my mom’s needs with both 24 hour and 12 hour shifts, and began care for my mom while she was an in-home hospice patient. Destiny communicated my mom’s needs professionally and handled any and all surprises with ease. She prepared meals, helped with daily living tasks, and followed hospice instructions perfectly. I live out of state and was always relieved when Destiny provided care, because I knew she had my mom’s best interests front and center. Destiny was a blessing to my mom in her final days. She felt safe, cared for, respected and Destiny brought quiet humor to stressful situations. I cannot express enough how much my family values the work she did for our family.
