About Destiny

My name is Destiny. I've always connected naturally with young children. Over the years it has grown into a passion for early education and a high respect for the children I work with. I enjoy building trusting relationships with children and their families. In 2016 I got my Associates degree in Early Childhood Education and have worked as a preschool teacher and occasional babysitter since then. I now have a 3yo son, and live with my partner and her 8yo son. Being a parent myself has really helped me relate more to other parents and understand the importance of having a community. I'm currently in between careers, working to set up my own in-home child care, and need a little part time income to get us through this transition. Our home is set up for kids, as we're working on getting licensed for child care, so it's a perfect place to drop your kids off for the day. We have toys, books, crafts, and a fun cozy backyard.
