About Destiny

Hi! I'm Destiny! I'm a very family-oriented, caring, and dependable person who loves being around kids and creating a positive environment for them to grow in. As the second oldest of five sisters, I naturally grew up helping care for younger children, which is a big reason why nannying has always felt so rewarding to me. I recently walked in the May 2026 graduation ceremony at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where I studied Economics with a Business minor, and I'll officially complete my degree in August. In my free time, I love staying active through yoga, walks, and fun activities. I enjoy bringing that energy into childcare through outdoor time, crafts, games, and creative activities with kids. I have 4+ years of childcare experience, reliable transportation, am comfortable with pets and light household help. I hope to make a positive, lasting impact on the children and families I work with while finding a long-term position that feels like a great fit for everyone.
