About Destiny A

Hello! My name is Destiny, and I have extensive experience working with children and adults of all ages. I hold an Associate's Degree in Psychology and an Associate Teacher Certification in Child Development. I previously worked as a therapeutic preschool teacher, supporting young children in their social, emotional, and developmental growth. I also worked as a caregiver for adults with different disabilities and illnesses and provided many levels of care! Currently, I work at a Short-Term Therapeutic Residential Treatment Program (STRTP), where I provide care and support to youth ages 5-18 who have experienced significant challenges and adversity. My background has equipped me with strong skills in behavior support, emotional regulation, crisis management, and creating safe, nurturing environments. I am patient, dependable, and passionate about helping children feel supported, engaged, and cared for. I look forward to providing your family with reliable, compassionate childcare.
