About Destiny

Hello! My name is Destiny and I am currently a sophomore at UIC! My experience with child care includes working as a camp counselor this past summer as well as woking as an inclusion aide for the past two summers as well. My responsibilities include ensuring the safety of the kids at all times, creating a fun enviroment for them, cooking, cleaning up, assisting kids with schoolwork and constant communication with the parents. I'd describe my personality as fun, caring, and reliable! I like working with kids because deeply rewarding and exciting. Watching kids learn new things or accomplish a goal they have been working towards always brings me so much joy. It is fufilling to see them express who they are. One thing you should know about me is I believe communication is extremely important. In order to create the best experience for a family, I need to understand their boundaries and interests of everyone in order for me to do my job the best I can!
