About Destiney

Hello! My name is Destiney and I am a 4th grade teacher. As a licensed educator, I have worked with grades 3-8. I have a bachelors degree in elementary education and an endorsement in English as a second language. In addition to my experience as a teacher, I have worked with children ranging in age from 6 weeks to 18 years old, including those with various specials needs. That experience includes multiple summers as an ABA therapist working with children with autism. As an educator, I love watching children grow and learn. I firmly believe that children learn through exploration, play, and opportunities to be creative. As a care giver for your child, I would provide those opportunities for them. Most importantly, I am also a mom to one sweet little girl. Therefore, I understand how daunting leaving your child with someone unfamiliar can be. When your child is in my care, updates will regularly be sent so you know how and what your child is doing.
