About Destanee

It is my pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Ms. Destanee L. Destanee exhibits traits that exemplify and exhibit what it truly means to be a caregiver that seeks to support children. As a City Year employee, Destanee went above her classroom role to help students outside of classroom hours such as during her lunch break to assist students. She would assist the classroom teacher by creating activity sheets for students to help them learn the material in a digestible way. She also used her own resources to create graduation packages for the students. Her passion towards education and her innate love for children is evident through her interactions with students throughout the day and school year. She is an individual who enjoys supporting children and aspires to create her own non-profit to support the wellbeing of youth. It is with a wholehearted belief, that Destanee will be of great service as a childcare provider.
