About Desi

Hi, my name is Desi! My background is in medicine. I trained for 2+ years as a medical student at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine where I gained clinical experience with all ages newborn to adolescent. Between semesters, I worked as an infant/toddler teacher at a local preschool where I cared for ages 6 weeks to 2 years. A while back I decided to take a break from my medical career and have been happily nannying ever since. When my fiancé matched into a Family Medicine residency in California, we decided to move to San Diego with our two rescue dogs. Over the last year and a half, I have had the privilege and joy of watching two lovely babies grow into wonderful toddlers. As one child makes the exciting transition into preschool, I have some availability in my schedule. I am available nights and weekends, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you're needing a date night sitter :) I am fully vaccinated and certified in infant/child CPR and First Aid.
