About Desiree

I'm a fun, adventurous, loving homeschooling mom to an amazing 11-year-old boy who keeps me on my toes on the daily. I enjoy always being on the go, getting outside, and taking fun day trips to museums or parks. I have my Masters Degree in Childhood Education and have worked as a Substitute Teacher, a 1:1 Student Aide, a babysitter, ! :) My son and I are part of a homeschool co-op where I have taught a variety of classes over the last few years including: Pre-K Letters & Numbers, Entomology, Tropical Ecology, Crazy Kid Creations, Forensic Science, Poles Apart, and Learning to Read with Expression (among others as well!) I also teach kid's arts and crafts classes at the local library. My favorite thing to do is teach and watch as kiddos find that spark inside themselves as they learn something new or discover something about themselves!
